The challenge
Before working with Global 4, Key Organics was experiencing challenges around connection reliability. When connectivity issues occurred, internet services could drop out, impacting users across the business. It could also take time to identify problems and restore services, creating frustration for employees who depended on a stable connection to carry out their work.

The solution
Global 4 worked with Key Organics to strengthen their connectivity infrastructure through the re-sign of their existing leased line service, combined with the addition of a failsafe 500Mbps FTTP connection. The solution was designed to provide continuity of service. If the primary connection experienced an issue, traffic would automatically move across to the backup FTTP connection, helping users stay connected and allowing the business to continue operating.
To further improve resilience, Connection Monitoring was implemented. This provides greater visibility of the health of the connection and helps identify issues more quickly. The solution was also supported by Global 4’s Maintenance & Service Contract, giving Key Organics access to ongoing technical support and service management whenever required.
The results
The new connectivity solution has provided Key Organics with improved reliability across the business.
With a secondary connection available in the event of an issue on the primary service, the risk of connectivity-related disruption has been reduced. The addition of Connection Monitoring has also helped improve initial response times when faults occur, enabling issues to be identified and addressed more quickly, while supporting efforts to restore the primary leased line service as soon as possible.
As a result, Key Organics now benefits from a more resilient connectivity platform that better supports its day-to-day operations.
